Each child is an “innate scientist” and nature is a treasure for them to discover, where they can explore beautiful sceneries, sounds, and textures of different things. The children living in an environment close to nature are happier and healthier.
Therefore, at Sakura Montessori, lessons are not only “inside” the classroom. Children are given an opportunity to explore and get close to nature with “open” lessons outside, giving them a variety of good experiences at school, and promoting their comprehensive growth in intelligence, physical health, and spiritual health.
Particularly, in the last outdoor lesson, little “scientists” at Sakura Montessori Van Phuc had the chance to find the answer to 1001 questions why about the green campus of the school such as:
Why are leaves green, while the nearby flower is white?
Why do snails crawl on leaves?
Why does the purple flower fall down on the ground?
….
Apart from the lessons about plants and flowers, children also experienced physical games such as jumping and ball throwing to practice their thinking and observing skills, and develop their muscles.
Such “open” lessons within a green space of fresh air at Sakura Montessori not only nurture a kind heart, but also stimulate creativity in children and give them a chance to develop physical health. These are the most valuable lessons that Sakura Montessori hopes to give to little children.
Let’s enjoy beautiful moments in the last outdoor lesson at Sakura Montessori Van Phuc!
