Children at Sakura Montessori An Phu (HCMC) are always eager for the PE class, as, during this time, they can freely join exciting games for dexterity, stamina, and motor skills, at the same time enjoy a wonderful time with their friends and build up their teamwork.
In the PE lesson last week, SMISers An Phu had a chance to become athletes in the game tug of war. Before the game, children were divided into two groups and were instructed to warm up, and get ready for the game.
The game started when the two teams picked up two ends of the rope and pull them hard to their side. The determination of the teams, along with the cheer of audience, heated up the atmosphere and turned the school into a small stadium.
Apart from this game, children also joined some activities which helped them improve their observation, anticipation, and movement such as jumping and throwing balls and extensive exercise.
