To children at Sakura Montessori, cooking lessons are always a “special time” – when they are all eager to make simple dishes that they can later enjoy.
In the cooking lesson this week, children of the Mango class have made rolled Pho – a simple but nutritious and yummy food in the summer – with Ms. Trang.

With simple ingredients such as pho, beef, and raw vegetables, little hands carefully follow each step to make an eye-catching piece of rolled pho on their own.

The rich taste of beef and the fresh taste of lettuce are nicely blended with the soft and chewy pho wrap, which makes every little chef excited about and proud of their achievement.

Each cooking lesson is a useful experience for little chefs at Sakura Montessori. By making rolled pho with their own hands, children practice their attention, fine motor skills, and independence. Children learn how to cook for their family and friends, at the same time take care of themselves when their parents are not around. This builds a solid background for their future allowing them to be the master of their own.
Let’s take a look at joyful faces when making rolled pho of our children and their glowing countenance when enjoying their dishes! You can make rolled pho at home with your child too!
