I was so impressed by the facilities, teaching methods, and teachers at Sakura Montessori Pham Hung right from the first time I visited the campus. Now, seeing that Ori is always happy, independent and eager for school, I’m more convinced that I’ve made a right choice.
3 months ago, when my family moved to My Dinh area, we were so worried about finding a good school for our little girl. The first thing we considered was the location, which must be close to home for easy pickup and drop-off. I searched in groups on Facebook for more information. And Sakura Montessori was the name that caught my eyes because the campus was just 1 km away from my place; it was at the same time new with modern facilities.
Apart from that, the campus is spacious with an outdoor playground, a wading pool, and a vegetable garden for children to experience…
What I like the most about the teaching method at Sakura Montessori is the multi-age grouping. My daughter – Ori (4 years old) – is in the same class with children between 3 to 6. This helps them learn to share, wait for their turn, and care for younger ones; at the same time practice their independence and observations.
Another appealing thing at Sakura Montessori Pham Hung is its caring and enthusiastic teachers. During the first days at school, Ori was rather sad, probably because she had to entered a new environment and got separated from me. She didn’t cry, but didn’t join the activities of the class either. I talked about this with the principal, and immediately, she came talk to my child in the class. The lead teacher did the same thing to help me. After that, though she could not adapt immediately to the new environment, their care for my child really assured me. And gradually, Ori became more and more cheerful each day.
I’m so grateful to those teachers for their care and devotion. As a mom, I understand the pressure they must go through in taking children of different ages in one class, especially new students like Ori. And that’s why I more appreciate their persistent attitude and devotion, and have more trust in the school.
Thanks to the teachers, for the last 3 months learning here, Ori has changed a lot. She can now sing cheerfully in English, read poems, and talk a lot at home. She tells us about her day at school in the evening, about her friends, and the activities that she participated. She can also feed herself and tidy up toys after play.
As a parent, there’s nothing happier than seeing our little princess grow up each day. The whole family has put our complete trust in Sakura Montessori Pham Hung.
