Everything is carefully prepared, from napping space, clothes, to children\u2019s emotions prior to the sleep<\/b><\/h2>\n

Prior to sleep, teachers will reduce the light intensity in the room by pulling down the curtain and turning off lights for children to get ready and to make sure their nap won\u2019t be interrupted.<\/span><\/p>\n

Napping clothes are another thing to be well prepared for. Before the napping time, children will change into clean and comfortable clothes, allowing them to have a quality nap.<\/span><\/p>\n

Along with before-sleep preparations, waking children up after a nap is another thing that requires attention. Sudden waking up or sudden bright light will put children in distress, resulting in crying and tantrums.<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, here at Sakura Montessori, teachers will prepare children for waking up by gradually pulling up curtains, then gradually turning on lights to avoid sudden bright lights. The same goes for music. The volume will be increased bit by bit until all children have completely woken up.
